Quiz Categories
Categories are used to organize or group quizzes. It is an optional feature. By default, when an exam or quiz is created, it will be listed under "Without Category" area. For active quizzes, you will find it listed under "Current Quizzes" and those completed quizzes will fall under "Past Quizzes" when the View filter is set to "By Availability" and not "By Category."
Creating a Category
- Select Quizzes from the Assessments drop-down menu
- Select Edit Categories button.
- Click Add Category button.
- Enter a name for the category in the field provided.
- Click Save or Save and Close.
Applying the Category
- Select the checkbox next to the exam or quiz from the Manage Quizzes list.
- Click Bulk Edit.
- Select the the newly created category name by selecting the category drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
