Housed within Johnston Hall, the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service is a multimedia website that provides objective and professional reporting on urban issues in central city Milwaukee communities.
The Urban Journalism Workshop offers aspiring journalists a sense of the real world of news reporting. During this intensive two-week summer program, high school students use Diederich College of Communication facilities and equipment to provide content for the Urban Voice, a multi-media website capturing diverse perspectives and mirroring the converging worlds of media.
