The EECE department recently completed its new Embedded Systems Laboratory and the renovation of three Circuits laboratories. This project aligns with the department's commitment to providing state-of-the-art educational facilities for its students. The new Embedded Systems Lab, a 700 square-foot space, serves as the space for the Embedded Systems course and serves as a Digital Communications lab.

In addition, the lab serves as a 鈥渕akerspace鈥 for students. The construction of this $115,000 lab was made possible through a generous gift from Steven and Lynda Reyer. Parallel to this, the electric circuits laboratories underwent renovations that were completed in Fall 2023. These laboratories are utilized for multiple courses related to electric circuits such as power electronics and electrical instrumentation. The $120,000 renovations were also made possible by gifts from Steven and Lynda Reyer.
