Staff Sergeant Daniel Vergara is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Administration for Air Force ROTC Detachment 930 at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He directs all administrative operations for the active-duty cadre and more than 40 officer candidates annually. By managing personnel programs, pay actions, official records, and readiness requirements, he enables the Detachment Commander’s vision of developing disciplined, well-prepared future Air Force officers while ensuring compliance with Air Force and university standards.
Staff Sergeant Vergara enlisted in the United States Air Force in January 2021 and completed the Administration Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in May 2021, followed by the Administration Journeyman Course in November 2021. He began his career at the 43d Intelligence Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico, where he advised 198 squadron members on personnel programs. While serving as Commander’s Support Staff, he resolved over 13,000 personnel discrepancies, recovered $25,000 in backpay, and streamlined squadron procedures. As acting NCOIC, he led a five-member CSS team, sustaining 12 critical programs and helping earn Squadron Flight of the Year honors. He also supported the accountability and integration of 250 augmentees during Exercise FREEDOM SHIELD 2025, earning praise from a retired Brigadier General.
